Hey ppl!!

This is my last night at Opal Court and my last blog written at Opal Court. I have been staying here for almost a year! Kinda miss the place, can’t believe that i’m going to move out of this lovely place! It is a lovely place to live in. Its clean, new and nice location (close to train station, close to city centre, close to uni, close to supermarket and free bus for Asda once a week) except for the poor sound proof wall.

Talking about the poor sound proof wall, its pretty annoying.  One thing i love it the most is i get to have my own toilet! HAHAHAHA! I don’t have to share with others! Dislike sharing toilet with others!

Now, my flat is really quite. Because i’m the last one to move out from more flat.

So where am i going to move to ?

Luckily i have one juniors staying over the summer, SI TANG, so i get to move to his place for the meanwhile. Its about 20 mins walk from the uni! Its far from the uni, its far from the city centre, its far from the train station, far from supermarket! But there have like mini markets and a lot of halal stores!

Well i should not be complaining because ITS FREE!

The sad thing is he doesnt have internet in his place! So i cant online so often! need to get to uni for the internet.

The whole day have been busy packing and moving… everything is so messy! I just found that i got so many plates, spoons, folks! All the stuff from the kitchen took up the space of 2 big boxes! I have been cooking alot! Thats why!

Wow… now is already September! Time really flies!!

I will be going home real soon… very soon! in about 3 months time? hahaha… i know i keep on postponing! I will be back at the beginning of december! promise this time! Cant stay longer as well!

Once i go back i can chit chat, gossiping, shopping, dine out with my beloved friends and at the same time get to go back home and “manja” with my parents! miss them lots! BTW i miss driving as well!! lol… don’t have car to drive in UK bah.

But hor, if go back ah, i will be broke ass ah! So my beloved friends out there who are working now… u know what to do ah! *hint hint* i don’t have money so please bear with me!

On sunday i went to London for a day trip to visit some ” friends” who came all the way to uk! hmm not directly related to me! lol… im just some busybody! The train was half past 8 in the morning and “I” the kiang one only slept for 2 hours!!! look at my horrible face! I’m always late my train!! always last minute, cant change the habit!!

I was thinking of putting up some foundation, but due to time constraint…. only get to put one eye make up!

My tired face! plus the consequences of using flash light!!! I hate using Flash! no more flash next time!!

Wonder did u guys notice my terrible eye make up as well?? suppose to be bigger but turns out smaller!! y?? cos i was in a rush! ahahaha

Hungry~~ having some snacks at KFC! snacks before lunch! yea i always hungry!

hey people!! I havent update any post for quite some time! lol

Let me review of what i have been doing lately:

1) doing my work for dissertation,

2) watching hk drama ,korean drama, japan drama, movie?

3) shopping for grocery (alternate days, to obtain fresh ingredients),

4) cooking (i’m so good at it now, lol,  basically the same dishes all the time),

5) online browsing?

6) sleeping (i slept too much lately, cant help it, tired all the time),

7) watching youtube ( makeup tutorial, awesome, girls need to check it out! they do it very well and fast !!),

8) sadly no shopping for clothing done lately ( its already been awhile)!!

9) bought some make up (broke!! not going to review the price, lol),

10) last not least, EATING!!

I’m going back home real soon!!! Probably around November or December? hahaha, im gonna stay here with my brother!! Talking about my brother, i kinda piss at him lately, but im not going to talk about it! Let me settle things with him first!

Last week, i have my interim presentation. It sucks!!! I cant even answer simple questions. Gosh! its so embarrassing. This is not the interesting part! The interesting part is one of my two lecturers, have some sort got into a fight? not really a fight though, just some argument! Russian Vs. German!  One of them, the German guy got mad, and left the  presentation! We were all shocked!! The atmosphere at that time was really weird. All of us just keep quiet!

I hate to be sick, felt so uneasy! Initially i have sore throat then light flu! On Sunday, is the worst, i feel so weak and tired! Basically i lie on the  bed and sleep for the whole day! muahahahha

I have a great weekend though last week! Mulie and her sis came from Notts to Leics to have lunch with me at ” Tinseltown”. Its a halal restaurant, the price is reasonable and i shud go there more often! haha… I received a lovely present from Mulie, thanks alot babe!

Then i followed them to Notts to watch movie! Well we can watch in Leics, but she has date one of her friends , so i followed her all the way to Notts! hehehe

The movie we watched was called  “The Proposal”, starring Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds! I love it, its really nice, is a romance comedy! I think most of the girls will love it, but not the guys i guess! U know the typical “romance comedy”

Anyway, something really awful happened to me! I need to catch a train from Notts to Leics, but some how there is no more train to Leics at 9.30pm! The train only could take us to Louborough! The workers told us to ride on the train and they gonna arrange a bus from Louborough to Leics? Well there is few of us having the same situation!

After we get off the train, we expect there will be a bus ready and waiting for us outside the train station, as it was mentioned by the conducter! But, nothing is there! So an english man, talk to a lady who worked at the train station, she said that she wasn’t inform about bus!! Gosh!! how am i suppose to get back to leicester!! She then called a taxi for 5 of us to get us back to leics which is to be paid by the train company! She told us that the train could not go forward to leics, because there is some engineering work going on…

The taxi is gonna drop us at the train station! It is already very late at nite like pass 11pm and i will be walking back on my own! Luckily,there is one english family in the taxi with me, the mother offered to send me home, cos she thinks is too late to walk back alone!! I really thanks them, it is very nice of them!!

Friday, 31st July 2009!

My birthday is on 30th of July, but i did not get to celebrate on that day, cos i have a presentation on my birthday! lol… the night before i did not sleep as well because i need to finish my work!  After the presentation, i went back home and “SLEEP” ! Very sad yea…

The next day, Friday, someone date me out for lunch! hehe…. yea just two of us! hahaha…

hello people, i think my blog is very boring ah!! hahhahha cos im not an interesting person!

I have so many documents to read but i feel myself so lazy! I told myself, after i finishing this course, i will never want to go back to studies anymore! i think im not that into studies as well! hahahaha plus… im not that smart as well!

Today, i did something to my hair for fun! hahhaha….

Nice my hair? lol, it tooks me one hour to fix everything! but the curls only last for awhile!! annoying!!

The weather has been a bit unsual lately. It rains almost everyday, annoying. Eventhough now is still summer time, the weather is still cold, u still need a jacket or cardigan sometimes, especially at night!

Havent been to any places lately, sigh.. everyone is busy!!

hey my dear friends!!  I haven’t been updating my blog for ages, hehehe…. very lazy! this is what i call myself “hangat-hangat tahi ayam”?? not so sure bout that?Moreover hardly take pics lately… feel myself so fat and ugly thus reluctant to take pics! lol….

Hope that all of you are fine! anyway … i will be back to Brunei like really soon, so i can catch up with u guys very soon. Well times really flies, its almost one year of me in uk! Before i go back, i got war to fight ! I got one more paper and dissertation to go! Hopefully i can get through that!

There is nothing interesting for me lately! I need to meet my supervisor once a week! I don’t have any plans except eat? All my friends are like really busy, all of them so hardworking, everyday read n read , sigh~~~

Early of July, i went to London to meet my ex chms classmate, Kim yew and Chuan Xing aka Aaron, not used to call him aaron by the way! We meet at Convent Garden tube and had our lunch at one of the German Restaurant, forgot the name.

The lunch altogether cost us about 50 pounds! Kim yew wanted to treat us but we insist that we go dutch! In the end kim yew gave a few pounds of tips!! A few pounds to me is very the alot!! can use it to top up my oyster card! lol

Kim yew has been telling us about this shop Abercombie & Fitch (American Brand)  located at Regent Street. All the shop attendants are MODELs, professional models and we can take pics with a macho man and yea, I did!! He has a gorgeous smile and six pads! lol. The clothes are really expensive! As per Kim yew, one shirt in US cost around US$25 but in UK cost around 60 pounds?? This is so ridiculous!!! Cant afford that…

On the same day, there is parade along the Regent street, there is so many people!!! Parts of the road was pack with people!! IT WAS TERRIBLE!!! We have to squeeze through the crowds!! Body touching body!! First time in my life!!! That day the weather was pretty hot, everyone is like sweating! imagine the crowds, smelly ah!

This is the last day im gonna stay in my own rooms! Im going to move out tmr, to another block!!!!! so many things to pack and move over to the new room!!!

Its bed time!!! nite nite everyone

This week is damn hot! I can’t stand without having any air-con or fan! So i just got myself a new fan!! lol It is really hot and i keep on sweating, i shower like 3 times a day cos i can feel the stickiness! Lots of people tell me that this year summer is gonna be really really hot!!! hot is ok with me but not without air-con! London tube and buses have no air-con, it is really stuffy and hot hot hot!

I have been walking under the sun alot and i getting darker. lol! i can see marks on my foot, partially is dark and partially is fairer as well as my arms? hahahha no choice i can’t use umbrella or i should say i don’t wan to use cos my friends told me it is very weird if u use umbrella here in uk!  because everyone loves sun!

During the summer, the sun rises at around 4am and sets around 10pm. The sky totally become dark around 11pm! Interesting yea!

My friends and i went to a pub and drink last nite around 9pm! The sky is still bright! The people here drink or party when the sky is still really bright! hahaha

I just attend 3 hours leture today! Hm… don’t really understand what my professor had explained! hahaha… i’m getting myself ready to start the dissertation! i will start my dissertation next week, paying full attention because we have been warned that it  is not easy to write our dissertation and i was shock that there is gonna be a presentation for our project!  Damn! i don’t even know how to present all the stuff! We are not allowed to sight any reference from internet, everything must be from the books, sigh~~ we also need appendix for our computer codes! Hate matlab, not good at it and know nothing hahahaha

After the class went to Nandos Again for dinner! I know everytime eat Nandos! There is a lot of Nandos in Leicester. Then later we went for movies “Terminator”. It was great! I love it, it is much better than “Transformers”. Kinda dissapointed with Transformers.

Anyway lately have been eating out alot… there is no chance for me to loose weight… all i do is eat and eat ! hahahaha

21st June 2009

I went to Nottingham on saturday to visit Mulie. It was Mulie’s sister birthday! Mulie cook black pepper chicken and yummy corn soup! Only left 3 of us in the house as everyone have moved out and some went back to brunei for holidays! Later on we went shopping in the city centre… did not bought anything except i got myself a “bra” hahahhait cost me 8 pounds! its consider cheap in uk.

My train to Notts was 10.48am but i woke up kinda late and everything was so screw up! I go up late so everything was very rushing. When i went down to the main door of the hall i just realised that i forget to bring my wallet, so i rush back to my room to pick up my wallet and the time is running out! However when i get to the train station, i forget to bring my booking reference number for my train ticket! (where i already paid for the ticket online and need the reference number to collect the ticket) I was like damn!! So instead i need to get myself a new ticket. In total i have paid 14 pounds extra, sigh.. which initially i  will only need to pay 6.50pounds for a return ticket! hai~~~

15th June 2009 to 18th June 2009

On monday i went to manchester to visit Chiao Hui! It was a fun trip! Manchester is kinda big, i mean much bigger than Leicester! So happy to meet up with Chiao Hui (Bun or Bunny) muahahaha.

The first day i arrive, we went to Trafford! Beautiful shopping mall and nice food court! Did i bought anything that day? hmm i bought a T-shirt from Zara that cost 6 pounds? hhheehe cheap ler! As well as a shopping bag from John Lewis that cost 14 pounds! I walk until my foot very painful. I guess maybe im too heavy, thats why!

16th June 2009

The second day we went to alton towers! It was awesome…hehehe … I really enjoy most of the rides…

Early in the morning we got to the Manchester Picadilly train station around 8, and bought the ticket to Stock on Trent. Ok i thought we will reach there soon after we got off from the train, well we will need to take another bus to reach Alton Towers, the return fare was cheap, it was like 5 pounds! Going to Alton Towers, we were lucky we got the seats… but when leave the Alton towers, the bus was like “SARDINE”… its really terrible! If u wan to know more, u can ask Chiao Hui!

From the train station to Alton towers took about 30mins to 1 hr? It depends what route the bus driver use and how fast he is driving! With the bus pack like SARDINE, it is very dangerous to drive in high speed!

Anyway, I really do enjoy the rides and that day we have a hot sunny day! Some of us even got sun burnt! Chiao hui claims tat she has become darker! hahaha

I’m having my holiday now but i still have some lectures to attend. It is like 4 hours straight per day! Torture!!! Lately i’m kinda headache about my summer accomodation. I only left few months here will be back to brunei like real soon! hehehe…Honestly, i don’t feel like going back! muahahaha… Fen i noe u miss me! hahaha

I decide to extend my stay at Opal Court but i only can stay here until 13 September then i need to move to elsewhere. Very troublesome, sigh~

Anyway i went to Cambridge last Saturday, it was a nice place to visit! Nice buildings and nice environment.  I walk until my foot got blister! We did not use any public transport. We just walk from the train station to the city centre. That day, the weather was very cold eventhough it is suppose to be almost summer time! I will post some pics later as the camera is still with my friend!

Monday 8th June 2009

I went to London to meet Muli e, Izyan and Norsiah! I am really happy to meet up with them! To my surprise , Siah had lost alot of weight! She has lost about 2 to 3 sizes! Gosh, envy her! I was really shock when i saw her at the tube station! People loose weight but i gain weight! I wan to be like her hahaha

We went to Tinseltown to have our lunch. It is a halal restaurant situated at Faringdon. Here are some pics…

In order to avoid the crowds, we went to a shopping mall at Bayswater. The place was really quite very few people. Maybe it is a Monday, we only shop for a while and i bought a dress and jacket! I know i shop everywhere i go hahaha. Later we went to the Hyde Park. It was  sunny and we all afraid of being become dark and saying that we might become darker during july and august, the hottest time of the year. It was sunny but the wind is really cold!

I’m so happy that my exam is over! Finally! Has been suffering for 2 weeks ah! Its 3 a.m. at the moment….i have been sleeping for about 4 hours, maybe i will go back to bed later!!

I feel so super sakit hati… cos i spent alot on thursday! like really a lot… just to buy make up! muahahaha…

I bought a Face  protection (you apply before you apply the foundation), a foundation, a powder blush, eye pencil in green, eye shadow and 2 brushers! The brushers super soft texture… love it… like to play with it! HAHAHA… I’m not going to tell u guys how much i spent! Now i can tell how kaya my china friends ah, the girls… they highly recommend me to buy this and that! One of them told me, she have like a set of MAC at home…. everything is MAC! super kaya lar!

Its the first time in my life to buy such an expensive make up!!!…. with this i can buy about 5 bajuss lor… never mind…hmm only once in a while cos i wont be buying makeup like everyday or all the time! (trying to make myself feel better) lol…

WEDNESDAY …. 3rd JUNE 2009

After the last exam, me and my buddies went for lunch, we went to a French restaurant, the food not bad. The price quite reasonable. I ordered 2 courses set lunch, cost me about 12 pounds!  I ordered my entreee something something salmon, and my main course is STEAK!! hehehe… eat until so full! after the entree im already full! hahaha

THURSDAY 4th JUNE 2009

I want to introduce you guys one of my favourite dishes!!

This is  sze chuan style fried chicken! I super like this! everytime i go to this restaurant is a MUST order for me! hahaha… some of my fren really sick of my me ordering this over n over again! but they have no say cos i love it!!! I’m gonna miss it when i go back to Brunei! Btw the chef is a nice chinaman! He is very nice to me… i have asked him to give me more chicken and he did! hehehe…. he rocks!
